Product Description

The “Van Veen  Grab” is a bedload sampler, deployed on a rope or winch, depending on the size of the sampler.  During the descent to the bottom the two buckets are held in open position by the means of a hook. When the grab hits the bottom the tension on the hook is released and the hook is disengaged. Upon lifting the buckets dig into the bed of the water body and close.
